Killing Head Lice
Having head lice is a common thing, especially for children. They run rampant at elementary schools jumping from one kid the next. Everyone can get them, even if you wash your hair ten times a day. It doesn’t matter how clean you are, it just takes being in theproximity of someone who has it. There is that misconception out there that its the poor and dirty kids who spread and get it, I just want you to know that even you can get it Mr. Fancy Pants.
Head lice are blood parasites that set up camp on your head. You know you got them if your scalp is incredibly itchy. You can get them by being close to someone who has them or sharing a comb, hat, headband, headphones or something of the such sort. Home furnishings can also have them living on them like towels, clothes, pillows, blankets and what not. You can get them that way too. So what to do if you have lice? Don’t worry, we are here to help you kill your nasty head lice. There are a few different things you can do.
One method to kill head lice is by simply going to the doctor and he’ll give you some prescription heavy duty shampoo to get rid of the infestation living on your head. If you have not thought of this yourself then you are simply stupid. However, we still appreciate stupid people reading the articles on our site, we don’t discriminate. Another method is to go to the store and buy some over the counter stuff to kill the head lice. Just ask your pharmacist, he’ll know what to do. Don’t feel bad if he doesn’t get to close though.
There are some natural ways to kill head lice as well. One natural method is covering your hair with a variety of things and covering it overnight with a shower cap and then wash twice with shampoo then comb out with a lice/nit comb. The stuff that commonly works is:
- Mayonnaise (The real stuff)
- Vaseline
- Castor Oil
- Coconut Oil
There are some things that people don’t know about lice though. They may be tiny and eating your scalp but they set up a complex society on your head. There are families, babies, leaders and they are living creatures. They don’t know that they are living on someone’s head. They think that it is their home. It is the only life that they have known. I’m sure if they knew they were living on a giant they would feel bad. If you were a tiny creature unknowingly living on someone else would you want them to kill you? I don’t think so. Before you use these methods to rid yourself of lice just think about if you were the lice. For all you know, we are lice to someone or perhaps our whole universe is just someone’s marble. I happen to know on great authority that one of those are true, if you would like to know which one let me know.
